Latest Update
Welcome to the LinkTrust changelog! We’ll post updates herewhenever there’s something worth sharing.
Major platform update
Today we released a major LinkTrust update focused on backend performance. Most users won’t notice a difference day to day, but this work lets us raise API paging limits soon, starting with the Affiliate Transaction Details API. This update contained many database, security, and performance updates that required us to change database providers. Because of this, we had longer downtime than expected, which may differ by time zone. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact us: support@linktrust.com
Impact during the release
Because this update was so large, some reports, such as Click Details, may have a delay for generating data for about a day. We also had some downtime, during which some clicks and leads may not have been recorded. Traffic between 1:58 and 4:00 AM Mountain Time (7:58–5:00 UTC) may have been intermittently affected. We apologize for any inconvenience.
What’s new
- Affiliate Campaign Performance API: A new API for affiliate campaign performance data.
- POST support for server-side pixels: Server-side pixels can now send JSON data with POST requests, not just GET requests. This makes it easier to integrate with services like Meta.
- You can use tokens in your JSON. See Pixel Tokens.
- POST is currently available for CPA campaigns only. Support for Lead Gen and Pipeline campaigns is coming in our next update. Until then, POST pixels will fire as GET requests for leads.
- POST pixels can only be added in the client portal for now. Affiliates can’t add them in the Affiliate Center yet.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where Qualified Steps with affiliate payouts set to “Assigned” and custom revenue payouts used the campaign default payout instead of the affiliate’s assigned payout.
- Several minor bug fixes.
